Leeds Crown Court heard Carl Cawood was involved in an early-morning confrontation with the victim Andrew Waterworth, 39, in New Briggate, Leeds who threw a punch at him. Cawood's rained blows on the other man.

Two men have been jailed over a planned arson attack in which a military hand grenade was left outside Kenny Dalglish's home.

The army bomb squad had to be called to the former Celtic and Scotland star's house last July when undercover police averted an attack on a neighbour.
